Attunement Attuning Spacing?

Dear Master Mohan

I was wondering after i received an attunement, is the duration of 7 days reliable enough until i should take the next attunement .  Is 7 days enough for 1 attunement to fully attune me to that level?

I have heard different before such as it takes 1-3 months before attuning for the next level or takes 1 yr to attune for the next level???.

    I had 2 yr. of gap between my 2nd and master level (Usui Style) though I most regularly involved in healing activities on self and others.
Yes! This waiting period is necessary for the assimilation and integration of the received attunement.
  There are different views concerning the waiting period between the attunements. I personally feel that it is a matter of personal preference. So we should listen to our inner voice and then move on.

Dear Mr Mohan,

I have requested usui reiki 2 for saturday.  I believe i am ready to take my next level and finished reading usui reiki 2 manual to fully understand reiki.
