"River of Souls"

Almost a week ago now, I noticed that I was being touched in a psychic manner repeatedly, always by someone different. When I started looking closer, I could see sort of a swirl, like an eddy in a river. Some of them are essentially touching me on the way by, like saying hi to someone. I couldn't get a focus on who it was, because it was always someone different. My husband(who can see bigger picture things more easily than I) saw what appears to be more like a river, consisting of souls.

He feels it's similar to the jet-stream where, it's always flowing, just doesn't dip down this far normally(we are in San Diego), hence we don't see it where we live on a daily basis.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this phenomena, and if so, what your impression was/is. I have a feeling it is where some of the mythological references to rivers and such.
