✦ Practitioner Certification
Facilitator Training
For teachers, therapists, coaches, and wellness professionals ready to guide others through the practices that changed their own lives. Rigorous, deep, and grounded in what actually works.
Why Become a Mindfulness Facilitator?
Something happens when genuine practice meets the right support: insight deepens, life changes, and a natural impulse arises to share what has been found. If you are reading this page, you likely know what we mean. You have seen — in your own life, in your classroom, in your clinic, or in your conversations — the profound difference that genuine inner work makes. And you want to be part of bringing that to more people.
The need is enormous. We are living through a global mental health crisis in which anxiety, depression, burnout, and disconnection are at historic highs — while the systems designed to address them are overwhelmed and under-resourced. The solution is not more apps or more one-day events. It is more trained, grounded human beings who can hold a space with skill, compassion, and depth.
Becoming a certified facilitator is not just a professional development step. It is a way of multiplying what you have received — making the practices that transformed your own inner life available to the people in your sphere of influence. A trained teacher can touch hundreds of students across a career. A trained therapist or coach can offer a depth of support that redefines what the therapeutic relationship can provide. A trained corporate trainer can shift the culture of an organisation.
The Holistic Care facilitator training is not designed to produce technicians who can lead a breathing exercise. It is designed to produce practitioners — people with a deep personal practice, a genuine understanding of the tradition they are transmitting, and the skill to meet each person and each group exactly where they are.

What Makes This Training Different
Personal Practice First
You cannot take people somewhere you have not been. Every track begins with deepening your own practice — not as preparation for facilitation, but as the substance of it. The quality of your presence is the most important thing you bring to any room.
Curriculum Precision
Facilitating well requires knowing the curriculum deeply. We take you through every module as a participant, then as a facilitator-in-training — so that you understand not just what to say, but why each element is placed where it is, and how to adapt without losing the thread.
Live Practice with Feedback
Theory is not enough. Every track includes live facilitation practice — guiding real groups through actual program content — with structured, compassionate feedback from our senior facilitators. This is where the real learning happens.
Ongoing Community & Supervision
Certification is the beginning, not the end. Certified facilitators join a community of practitioners — sharing questions, case discussions, and peer support. Monthly group supervision sessions are available throughout the first year of practice.
Licensed Curriculum Access
Certified facilitators receive a licence to use The Holistic Care's complete materials for their certified program track — educator guides, student workbooks, guided audio libraries, measurement tools, and all future curriculum updates.
Business Support
For facilitators who want to build a practice or offer programs within their organisation, we provide guidance on pricing, programme design, client communication, and how to position what you offer. You are not just trained — you are equipped.
Who Should Apply
Who want to bring genuine mindfulness into their classrooms beyond the occasional breathing exercise — building a sustained, developmental practice with their students.
Looking to integrate mindfulness and awareness-based approaches into their clinical or coaching work — with a deep personal practice foundation.
Who want to bring the depth of the nondual tradition into their teaching — moving beyond physical practices to the inquiry that yoga ultimately points toward.
Seeking to build internal capacity for wellbeing in their organisations — rather than endlessly outsourcing to external vendors.
Who want to offer mindfulness and awareness as a core service — to individuals, leaders, or corporate clients.
Who has a sincere personal practice and feels called to share what they have found — in whatever context their life places them.
“The greatest gift you can give another is the purity of your attention. That is what a trained facilitator carries — not a technique, but a quality of presence.”

✦ Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is mindfulness facilitator certification?
A mindfulness facilitator certification is a structured training program that prepares practitioners to guide others through mindfulness and awareness practices — whether in schools, therapeutic settings, corporate environments, or community spaces. Unlike general mindfulness courses (which focus on the participant's own practice), facilitator training develops the pedagogical skills, curriculum knowledge, and personal depth of practice needed to hold a learning space effectively for others. The Holistic Care's certification is curriculum-specific — graduates are licensed to deliver our programs rather than being certified in a generic modality.
Do I need prior meditation experience to apply?
Yes — but not extensive experience. We require that applicants have an established personal practice of at least 6 months before the training begins. This does not need to be formal or daily, but it should be sincere and regular. The training begins with deepening your own practice before turning to facilitation skills, so a personal foundation is essential. If you are newer to meditation and want to develop your practice before applying, our I AM Program is an ideal preparation.
Is the certification recognised internationally?
The Holistic Care facilitator certification is a proprietary curriculum certification — it qualifies you to deliver our specific programs. It is not a general mindfulness teacher training accredited by BAMBA, iRest, or similar bodies (though Track B shares significant overlap with these frameworks). For school contexts in India, the certification is respected by school leadership as evidence of training in evidence-based SEL practices. For corporate contexts, the certification — combined with your results — is what opens doors.
Can I take the training online?
The intensive components are currently offered in hybrid format — some days in-person (India, with specific city venues published per cohort) and some delivered via live video. The practicum component is always online, allowing participation from anywhere. We are developing a fully online version of Track A (School Facilitator) — contact us for the current schedule.
What happens after certification?
Certified facilitators receive: a licence to use The Holistic Care materials in their certified track for one year (renewable annually), access to the facilitator community and quarterly group supervision, updates to curriculum materials as they are developed, and the option to be listed on The Holistic Care's website as a certified facilitator in their region. Many of our graduates go on to establish their own practices, integrate programs into their schools or organisations, or collaborate with us on specific engagements.
What does the training cost, and are payment plans available?
Track A (School) is ₹25,000 per participant. Track B (Adult) is ₹45,000. Track C (Corporate) is ₹35,000. Group rates are available for organisations sending multiple participants. Payment plans (50% deposit, 50% before the intensive begins) are available on request. We believe financial barriers should not prevent good facilitators from being trained — if your situation requires accommodation, please contact us.
How many people do you accept per cohort?
Training cohorts are deliberately small — maximum 16 participants per track — to ensure each person receives genuine attention and feedback during live practice sessions. This also creates the conditions for the kind of depth that makes facilitator training transformative rather than merely informational. We typically run 2–3 cohorts per year per track.
