Why Worry Tree works

Drawn from cognitive behavioural therapy, this game asks a player to write down a worry, place it on a tree, then sort it into what is within their control and what is not. Worries in their control get a next step; worries outside their control are consciously let go. This structured sorting reduces the mental load of holding a worry unprocessed.
