A familiar room, a favourite object or a small detail in nature can become a place to explore. In Mindful Play, Curious Minds, Mohan Chute invites children and supporting adults to try playful noticing activities involving colour, movement, drawing, texture and kindness.

These are invitations, not competitions or tests of concentration. Children can talk, point, draw, watch or choose not to join. Adapt the activities to age, comfort, access and safety, and let curiosity guide the pace.

Trailer: Season 2 Trailer: Mindful Play, Curious Minds

Welcome to The Holistic Care Podcast. I'm Mohan. Welcome to Season Two… Mindful Play, Curious Minds.

This season invites children and the adults who care for them to explore mindfulness through small, playful moments. We will notice colours… take slow steps… explore textures… draw our feelings… and discover tiny details in nature. You can try these activities together at home or in a classroom.

Each episode offers a simple starting point, with room to adapt it to your child. A child might join by speaking, pointing, drawing, or simply watching. Some days, a game will feel inviting.

Other days, you may choose a different activity or come back to it later. Let curiosity lead. Give your child time to notice something in their own way.

The pauses in these episodes offer a little space to explore. You can pause the recording for longer whenever you like. Let's begin with one small discovery… and see where it takes us.

I'm Mohan. Thank you for joining The Holistic Care Podcast.
